Château Haut Rozier

Château Haut Rozier is located in the town of Tayac, near Lussac. After having been the property of Romain Pascal, the domain was bought recently by Mr. Richard. Very keen to work in respect of the environment and the soil. This wine is certified Organic as of the 2020 vintage.

On a domain in one piece, with light slopes and ideally south / south-west exposure, the terroir is one of the finest in the appellation. What sets this property apart from its neighbors is the oenological approach combining modernity and tradition. Harvesting and vinification are conducted by Mr. Richard’s team with great attention to the vine to obtain grapes of exceptional quality. The breeding, very neat, confers elegance and complexity to these flasks.

At the tasting, with a very intense intense purple color, the nose of this vintage is jammy with very marked notes of ripe fruits. Well fleshy and full on the attack, the wine has a lot of fat. The tannins are melted, ripe and rich. This bottle will enchant all palates for immediate consumption but will also fit perfectly to a 5 year old guard.
