The history of Château Bellecroix goes back quite a long way. Indeed, from 1879, the property belongs to Monsieur Révolat, a young owner of the time, who receives a gold medal for one of his crops. A century later, at the end of the 1970s, Château Haut-Calens, on which Château Bellecroix depends, was taken over by Mr. Albert Yung, who has since been busy rebuilding the vineyard and modernizing the cellars and the vat room.
The vineyard of Château Bellecroix is located 13 kilometers from Bordeaux, in the town of Beautiran, on a clay & sand soil. The estate covers 14 hectares of vineyards planted in the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation. The grape varieties are 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.
At the tasting, Château Bellecroix offers a wine noted for its finesse, color and elegance. Its assets: a very round wine, a very beautiful mark and a beautiful dressing
