The high proportion of Merlot gives the Fourcas Dupré’s wine a real singularity. Intense fruit, spicy and torrefied notes are often quoted when referring to this wine. The 2006 here shows its real complexity. The 7 years spent in the cellar of the property have helped the wine to gain maturity, leathery notes but also balance, which was not the case of a lot of 2006 when they were released. A wine that can be enjoyed now.
