We are offering you today two high quality wines: Château Prieuré  Marquet 2008 and 2009 and Moulin d’Issan 2009. The high proportion of merlot in these wines, give a pleasure fruit sensation.

Frédéric Despujol (whose family is the owner of Château Nénin) wish was to bring back this family estate to life. In this way his called his friend Alexandre de Mallet Roquefort, wine-maker at Saint Emilion and Mathieu Huguet, famous medoc oenologist. The wine is composed of 100% merlot and is vinified in stainless tanks and followed by a 12 month barrel ageing.  The increase of the wines quality combined with the estate’s willing of building a good relation with the markets that are partners, makes this an inescapable wine at a reasonable price.

Moulin d’Issan is issued from the third grand cru classé of Margaux. It is a family estate whose owner is Emmanuel Cruse. The vineyards surface is 12 hectares and the grape variety proportion is 90% merlot and 10% cabernet sauvignon. These ones are planted on clay-limestone soils. The average age of the vineyard is 15 years. The wine receives the same treatment as Château d’Issan. The vinification is traditional and the wine is aged in the same cellars as Issan. The yields are controlled so a wine good for ageing can be produced.
