Château Acker Perreau is a wine created by the Acker Vineyard, one of the oldest properties in the history of the region, owned by Jean-Paul Acker. The property also hosts guest rooms, rewarded by 3 ears. Château Acker-Perreau was born in 2010, formerly called Château Perreau.
The terroir of Château Acker Perreau is located in the town of Arbis, in the region of Entre-Deux-Mer, 109 m above sea level and covers 37 hectares. The property, in the style of the masters houses of Bordeaux, is an old dependency of the Castle Fort Benauge. The soils of the property are gravely clay and planted with 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is vinified in thermo regulated and controlled stainless steel vats to obtain fatty wines, elegant and without astringency.
At the tasting, the Château Acker Perreau offers a wine with a refined and intense nose, dark fruit melted with notes of raspberry, spicy and very nice woody, elegant mouth, with a beautiful weft, fruit, tasty tannins, freshness and a good continuation.
