First Primeur Release : the Willingness of Xavier Planty
Château Guiraud has participated in the early days of Bordeaux. The year 2018 is no exception to this custom. For the second year in a row, Château Guiraud opted for sincerity and transparency with early release. This initiative, already welcomed, is a reflection of the true and fair spirit of Château Guiraud.
Thus, Xavier Planty expresses himself on this subject thanks to a press release in April 4, 2018: “Dear friends, you will welcome many customers during this exceptional week […]. It is in a concern of coherence and quality of reception – that as last year – Château Guiraud wishes that its wines are appreciated with their selling price. It is, it seems to me, the minimum of respect I owe to all those customers who come from all over the world. “

The 2017 vintage has already distinguished itself and gets its first notes with the Wine Spectator:
- Château Guiraud 2017: Score: 92-95, “Lively, featuring orange peel, white peach, almond cream and apricot flavors that stay juicy and brightly defined. Elegant overall, with power in reserve.“
- G de Guiraud 2017: Score: 90-93, “Lively, featuring white peach, lemon zest and thyme notes zipping along. Very pretty, with a refreshing finish”
