We have the pleasure to offer you today L’Héritage de Chasse Spleen 2011, second label of Château Chasse Spleen.
Madame Castaing, the first owner, inhered of the plots among the best croups of Grand Poujeaux. Unfortunately too late to be part of the 1855 classification. But a new ranking in 1932 ranks the estate as a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel with only five other estates. L’Héritage de Chasse Spleen is the second wine of the famous estate. Coming from the youngest vines of the estate and the same wonderful gravel soils, l’Héritage de Chasse Spleen is at an earlier stage than Château Chasse Spleen, Moulis’ Star. In order to increase the productions quality, Céline VILLARS, the owner, realizes a very strict shortage of the grapes and the pulling out of low quality plots.
