Thanks to François (Despagne) for this marvelous diner where we tasted some St Smilion new ranking contenders. We had 4 different tasting showing some 2004, 2007, 2000 and 2003. I know a little bit more about St Emilion now…Thanks François. I had some very nice surprises as I didn’t know very well some wines like Ch Jean Faure, Corbin Michotte or Grand Mayne. I have the habit to taste those wine in primeurs but not that much 5 to 10 years later. Very interesting! We finished with a magnificent Figeac 2003.
